STEAKHOUSE BRUSCHETTA

Ingredients


  • 2 baguettes, cut into 24 slices

  • olive oil

  • 1 cup blue cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1-2 green onions, minced

  • several fresh basil leaves, chopped, about ¼ cup

  • 1 cup chopped tomato (Roma)

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 small beef filet or other tender cut, sliced into ½" pieces, or about 1 cup chopped leftover steak

  • Meat seasoning of choice

  • 1 tbsp butter



Instructions

  1. Brush each slice of bread with oil and grill until browned and crispy then set aside.

  2. In bowl toss tomatoes, garlic , basil and balsamic vinegar

  3. Add salt and pepper.

  4. Season steak pieces and quickly sear in butter until desired doneness.

  5. Smear each bread slice with cheese

  6. Add a spoonful of tomato mixture

  7. Top with a slice of steak

  8. Garnish with basil
