GARLIC NOODLES AND CRAB

Garlic Noodles inspired by the Garlic Noodles at the Crustacean Restaurant in L.A.
1 pound Asian style egg noodles spaghetti works great here too
4 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons fish sauce
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Cook the noodles as directed on the package and set aside.
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat then add garlic and sauté for 5 minutes. You want to infuse the butter with the garlic but you do not want to brown the garlic because it will get bitter. Adjust the heat as needed.
Take the garlic out. Add fish sauce and oyster sauce to the butter, stir and mix. Add cooked noodles and parmesan cheese and toss.
Roasted Garlic Crab
6 Dungeness crabs, about 1 1/4 pounds each, cooked, cleaned, and cracked
3 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
20 garlic cloves, finely minced
salt and freshly ground pepper
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Clean and chop the crab into small pieces. Heat up the butter in a wok (between medium to low heat) and saute the garlic until aromatic, but not brown. Add in the salt & pepper, and then add in the crab and stir well.
Transfer to a sheet pan and bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve hot with garlic noodles
